About Boitshoko Consulting
Boitshoko Consulting was birthed out of the need to help organizations incorporate employee wellness and mental health awareness into company cultures and productivity strategies through its tailor made training and workshops for each client. Boitshoko consulting is motivated to alleviate the effects of issues that may transpire in the work environment through training as well as psych-education.
There is no, ‘one-size fits all’ solution to employee wellness and mental health issues.
At the helm of Boitshoko Consulting is Boitumelo Boikhutso, the founder and managing director of Boitshoko Consulting, a registered counselor with the HPCSA specialising in trauma. Having obtained her Bachelor of Psychology (Bpsych Hons) degree at Midrand Graduate Institute now known as Pearson Istitute of Higher Education. In addition she is registered with BHF in private Practice.
From a young age she has always been attuned to the people around her, their behaviors, patterns and well-being. A true part of her nature that she would say makes her highly effective at her work, which was supplemented greatly by her tertiary studies.
She has found herself working in different spaces over the years such as Leeukop Prison, African Leadership Academy, Teddy Bear Clinic for abused woman and children. She has worked for the leading Employee Assistant Programme (EAP) companies as a Clinician, Group Trauma Consultant and a few years later working as an affiliate where she assists organizations by providing their clients with Trainings, workshops and clinical and strategic interventions. Working from a Bio-psycho-social perspective she believe that allows for a broader way of tackling issues and creating insight and awareness to helping people lead better lives.
Boitumelo Boikhutso and a friend and Colleague of hers, started a Mental health and wellness show called” Head space with BBM” on Mix fm 93.8 every second Monday of each month for the past 5 years giving her experience and exposure in radio broadcasting as well as psycho-educating in this space.
